I’m Kelsey! Hi! My hope is that this website gives you a sense of who I am and what I do. (Be sure to check out my recent work!) I truly believe that being a wedding photographer is one of the most wonderful things in the world, and there are so many reasons why, but I’d like to share just a few.

1. I get to meet people like you.

I love my clients. From our first coffee date to the engagement session to the bridal session to the wedding day, I develop a relationship that is so meaningful to me and allows me to capture my couples and their families in a way that reflects their personalities and love for each other. My cheeks will hurt just as much as yours at the end of your wedding day, because I value family and laughter and joy and love, and every weekend I am reminded that this is more than just a job. Every wedding is a privilege. I am taking part in the start of something that I believe in so much.

2. I believe in the beauty and significance of marriage.

I married my husband, Cameron, on March 1, 2014. He is my constant supporter, encourager, and best friend. I think Tim Keller said this well: “Marriage has the power to set the course of your life as a whole. If your marriage is strong, even if all the circumstances in your life around you are filled with trouble and weakness, it won’t matter. You will be able to move out into the world in strength.” I find strength in being known and being loved. Marriage brings out the ugly, and for someone to see that and in spite of it choose to love you, choose to make a lifelong commitment to you, is one of life’s greatest affirmations.

3. Photographs preserve the moments that you want to remember forever.

I recently got to flip through my grandparents’ wedding album for the first time, and it was amazing to see the moment when their family began, when they made the decision to walk through everything together. Those photographs weren’t only important to my grandparents. They were important to my parents, and now to me, and one day maybe to my own grandchildren. This is the beauty of photography and the reason why I am committed to providing quality, timeless, truthful images.

There is so much joy in capturing these moments, and I would love to get to know you and the heart behind your wedding day.
