Hello, month two of 2017! I’m so excited for this year to continue unfolding. January highlights included a weekend getaway in Charleston, multiple trips to the State Farmers Market (just as delicious in winter!), a beautiful engagement session, and regular exercise. I did come down with some kind of virus that had me out of commission for almost a week, but I’m considering February a fresh start — time to pick up where I left off. Also, to anyone who has ever said there’s no way I could run four miles, I’d like to say that I ran (read: jogged super slowly) four miles last month! And then I could barely function for the rest of the weekend. But let that be an encouragement to all of my fellow non-runners out there. You can do it! Now for some February goals to keep me on track.
1. Read Show Your Work! and The Accidental Tourist
2. Buy an address book. (Cute recommendations welcome.)
3. Run another 4 miles. (Gotta make sure it wasn’t a fluke.)
4. Finish drafting a mission statement and policies/procedures.
5. All the taxes.
Here’s hoping your month is full of cheesy romantic gestures and chocolate and maybe some more snow! Fingers crossed.
