After this cozy winter afternoon in the JC Raulston Arboretum, I have to say that a proposal is one of the most exciting, emotional, nerve-wracking moments to photograph. I think it’s the fact that this hugely important thing is happening all of the sudden and over within seconds. I’m pretty sure I was actually shaking. Michael brought Lindsay to this lovely little private spot in the arboretum and walked her through a box of memories they shared together before standing her up and getting down on one knee, at which point I’m pretty sure Lindsay said, “What are you doing?!” and Michael said, “What do you think I’m doing?” And I’ll just let these photos below tell the rest of the story. SO WONDERFUL. And to make things even more wonderful, I’m so happy to say that I’ll be shooting their wedding in the fall! Congratulations, Michael and Lindsay!
